Heather Hamann is a producer for the Dr. Dean Edell Radio Show, which she joined in 1999. She has a background in music radio, most recently at KOME in San Jose, and radio news. She started a five-year stint as a traffic reporter. Her good humor in the sky helped Bay Area commuters get home safely, and earned her the title 'The Sexiest, Wittiest Traffic Gal, Uh, Woman,' from the San Jose Mercury News. Heather was news director at KYLD where her segment Heather Does Hollywood was a hit. Prior to joining the Dr. Dean Edell Radio Show, Hamann worked with an artist management company promoting and managing some popular Bay Area bands as well as assisting in the release of several albums. Hamann is responsible for the overall sound of the Dr. Dean Edell Show, a job that includes music direction, production and managing affiliate relations. She is also the show call screener, helping callers find answers to their questions from Dr. Edell.
