Michael West is the Vice President and Senior Strategy Consultant with Saugatuck Technology, a business consulting firm focused on emerging IT markets and strategies. His areas of expertise include Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA), application development and integration, content and data management, and security and regulatory compliance issues. In 2004-5, Mr. West spent a year in Washington , D.C. at the Corporate Executive Board as Practice Manager of the Information Risk Executive Council, before returning to work at Saugatuck and re-focusing his interests on Software-as-a-Service and SOA.
