Grace Trahan is currently a WRTV-TV 6 anchor. Prior to joining the station, Trahan worked as the morning anchor in Beaumont, Texas, at KFDM-TV. She came to the station in 1994 as a general assignment reporter and began anchoring the weekend newscasts six months later. In 1998, she moved to her current position as morning and midday anchor. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Trahan serves on several boards, including Prevent Blindness Indiana. She also has received numerous awards, such as the Texas School Bell Award for Outstanding Educational Stories. She is also a member of Alpha Phi sorority. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Trahan is a soloist in the choir at St. Monica Catholic Church. She enjoys working out, reading, traveling, giving motivational speeches and taking walks along the canal. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Trahan graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1987.
