Bertha Lynn specializes in coverage of international, local, national and regional news. She is anchor on weekdays at KMGH-TV. Lynn studied communications at Washington State University. She currently serves as a trustee for Regis University and is a member of the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Denver. She also gives her time to the Mayor's Commission on Art Culture and Film and the Denver Art Museum's African American Task Force. Her awards include the Emmy for Best On-Air Personality by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Women's Leadership Circle Award form the Girl Scouts Mile Hi Council, the Distinguished Communicator Award from the University of Denver, Journalist of the Year for Broadcasting from the Colorado Association of Black Journalists, Woman of Distinction from the Rocky Mountain News and Hyatt Hotels. She is married to a Denver district judge and they are the parents of three children.
