Jose L. Amaral was born (1977) and raised in Luxembourg.
After studying Visual Communication
Jose started his first
Photojournalistic experience in 2009 with an small Newspapers for the
Portuguese community in Luxembourg where he documented the different activities of the Portuguese
community.
Today, Jose Lopes Amaral is based in Taiwan (since 2013) and
focuses on covering Human Rights Issues, Social Issues, Unrest in Asia.
His work is published in Die Welt, The Times, L'Express,
Asia Times, MediaPart, South China Morning Post, The Wall Street Journal,
DeLand, Chicago Tribune, Le Journal du Dimanche, and other News Medias around
the World.
He is distributed by Hans Lucas and by NurPhoto at the
international level..
