Jake Harwood is the editor of Human Communication Research. He is also book review editor for the Journal of Language and Social Psychology. He is a professor of communications at the University of Arizona.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Professor Harwood formerly worked as the director of the Graduate Program in Gerontology at the University of Arizona. He also taught at the University of Kansas. He is the author of "Understanding Communication and Aging" and co-editor of "Intergroup Communication: Multiple Perspectives." Mr. Harwood graduated from the University of Bristol with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He earned his master's and Ph.D. in communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
