Mr. Wheatman Verified

Victor (Vic) Wheatman's research specialties include public key infrastructures and related applications, as well as the Five-year Security Scenario. Wheatman has also chaired and programmed several of Gartner's security conferences. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Before joining the Security practice, Wheatman was the vice-president in Gartner's Electronic Commerce/Electronic Business research area. Prior to joining Gartner, he was a program manager at INPUT, a market research firm, specializing in electronic data interchange. Earlier in his career, Wheatman worked as a public radio producer and station manager. He created the award-winning National Public Radio program "Car Talk." [CR-LF][CR-LF]Wheatman has a B.A. in Journalism from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an M.A. in Communications from Boston University. He also has a Telecommunications Management Certificate from Golden Gate University and completed an executive management program at Harvard University.
