Paul Wagner has been with FOX 5 since November 1999. Before that he worked with WTOP Radio as a reporter and anchor. Prior to WTOP, Paul worked as a DJ at WYCR-FM in Hanover, Pa. He also worked as traffic reporter for KPRC-TV and KIKK-FM radio. Mr. Wagner has broken dozens of local and national stories including a confession in the Starbucks triple murder case, the FBI's espionage investigation of a State Department employee missing in Shenandoah National Park, and Mystery Author Patricia Cornwell's relationship with a former FBI agent and how it played a role in a bizarre attempted murder plot in Manassas, Va. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Wagner has won an Emmy for an investigation on youth violence and he's uncovered one of the biggest scandals in the history of the D.C. Police force. He was the first to report details surrounding the death of Chandra Levy and why investigators thought she had been murdered. He has won three Outstanding Enterprise Reporting awards from the Associated Press along with the National RTNDA Edward R. Murrow award for his coverage of the 1991 Mount Pleasant Riots.
