Mark Suppelsa is a co-anchor of WGN News at Nine and the WGN News at 5:30 PM. He started at the station in July 2008. Mark is also the news anchor of Eric & Kathy's morning show on WTMX-FM. Prior to WGN, Mark spent five years at WFLD-TV and anchored Fox News Chicago at Nine for nearly four years. He also worked at Chicago's WMAQ-TV for ten years as a weekend anchor, reporter and early evening anchor.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mark has twenty years of broadcasting experience and has won four Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow award, the Society of Professional Journalists' Peter Lisagor award for excellence in reporting and the Silver Dome Award in 2008 for "Best Anchor." He holds a degree in broadcast journalism from Marquette University.
