Former Deputy Head of Nile TV and
one of the channel's senior anchors/correspondents , she quit her job at the
height of the 2011 uprising to protest censorship. Amin has worked as a
longtime contributor to CNN's Inside Africa and has produced several
documentaries for various UN agencies. She currently works as a freelancer ,
contributing to Freemuse, Index on Censorship and Al Monitor Egypt Pulse.
