I contribute to various publications on travel, culture, health and wellness, social trends and issues and personal narratives. Telling a great story is what I strive to achieve with my writing and I indulge most of my tale telling abilities in my blog - reemspeak.com - a humorous (usually) take on relationships, life and celebrating the extraordinary in the ordinary. There is no dearth of inspiration around me with my husband and dogs, friends, the bustling city of Delhi where I live, the choir that I sing with, my nomadic childhood or the places where I travel.

I have worked in marketing, PR and communication over 16 years. Writing has always been an integral part of my professional roles. Whether starting out as a content writer or packaging content for social media, writing press releases or pitching a story to the media.

A writer, and communications, PR and marketing professional with over 17 years of work experience in international organisations, primarily at national/government tourism boards specialising in destination marketing and PR in the Indian market, as well as other Asian markets. I write on travel, culture and social trends with various prominent publications. Strong communication skills and creative thinking are my strengths. I also run a destination promotion consultancy, Elan, that offers representation and project management to tourism boards/visitor attractions/other tourism bodies that need help with the Indian market. Varied roles in industries ranging from tourism to publishing to international trade and information technology have made me adaptable, independent and self motivated.
