Bruce Leshan began his broadcast journalism career as an investigative intern at WBBM-TV in Chicago, and later became a Washington, D.C., correspondent for WISC-TV from 1984 to 1988. He has also been at KCRL-TV in Reno, WTOL-TV in Toledo, and WBFF-TV in Baltimore. [CR-LF][CR-LF]His reporting awards include a National Association of Black Journalists Award and three local Emmys. He also won four Chesapeake Associated Press awards for both spot news and features, along with five Society of Professional Journalists awards for breaking news, reporting, and human interest. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Leshan earned a BA with honors in politics and sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additionally, he holds a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
