Ms. Jacko Verified

Julie Jacko is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. She is the author or co-author of over 120 research publications including journal articles, books, book chapters and conference proceedings. Ms. Jacko's research activities focus on human-computer interaction, human aspects of computing, universal access to electronic information technologies, integrative health, health care informatics, and technological aspects of health care delivery.[CR-LF]Ms. Jacko received a National Science Foundation CAREER Award for her research titled, 'Universal Access to the Graphical User Interface: Design For The Partially Sighted,' and the National Science Foundation's Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), which is the highest honor bestowed on young scientists and engineers by the federal government.[CR-LF]Ms. Jacko completed her college career at Purdue University, where she holds a doctorate, master's and bachelor's degrees.
