Hayko Baghdad

He was born in 1976 in Istanbul. In 2012, he produced and hosted the program "Less Decision Most Harm" with Roni Margulies on IMC TV. In 2015, Nazlı Ilıcak and Prof.Dr. Hayko Bağdat, who started to host the "Free Expression" program with Ersin Kalaycıoğlu, had the opportunity to host valuable guests and bring up different issues.

His first book, Snail, was published in 2014. His second book “Gollik” was released in 2015, and his third book “Kurtuluş Ҫok Broken” was released in 2016.

Bagdat, who was a columnist for Taraf Newspaper between 2013 and 2016, started to write for Diken.com.tr as of 2016.

The "One Person Bişe" show called Snail, which he started to prepare for in 2015, provided the opportunity to embrace thousands of viewers in 2016, first at BKM Mutfak Sahne, then within the scope of his domestic and international touring program. Baghdad's show still continues touring Europe and America. He performed his first show in Berlin on the stage of Maxim Gorki in May 2017.

Hayko Bagdat had to move to Germany with his family in January 2017. Together with Can Dündar, he played a major role in the realization of the news portal "Özgürüz". Again in June of the same year, he resigned after the social rights of his journalist colleagues working on the portal were not fulfilled.
