Barbara Grijalva began her broadcast career during college at KIKX-AM radio in Tucson, where she eventually became the News Director. She then moved to KNST-AM News Talk Radio as a Managing Editor among other things. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms Grijalva feels that she has a responsibility to report on science and health stories in addition to the news so that her viewers can be informed. She loves Tucson and is involved in community development projects as well as speaking at public events, especially for those involving children.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Grijalva graduated with a major in Journalism from the University of Arizona.
