Ms. Demos Verified

Cynthia Demos is an anchor at WFOR-TV. Most recently, she was the weekend anchor of WFTV-TV news and served as a reporter three days per week. She also co-anchored WRDQ-TV's Action News @ 10 Monday through Friday.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Demos has also served as Channel 9's overseas correspondent. She reported live from Israel for the launch of the first Israeli astronaut flying in space. She also covered Israeli anti-terrorism training. Other overseas work include retracing the footsteps of a World War II veteran across France, Belgium, and Germany.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Demos worked as an anchor and reporter in West Palm Beach, Fla., during the 2000 presidential election. She was also the co-host of a morning drive-time radio show in West Palm Beach. Before coming to Palm Beach County, Ms. Demos was on-air in Winston-Salem, N.C., covering lawsuits against the tobacco industry.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Demos began her work in the journalism field as a television news writer in her hometown of Miami. Her first on-air job was in Panama City, Fla., where she interviewed O.J. Simpson during his first post trial golf outing. Ms. Demos graduated from the University of Florida with a major in journalism and a minor in math.
