Andres Cruz is the editor and publisher of La Voz. The paper focuses on Hispanic issues in the Central Kentucky area. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Cruz, a native of Costa Rica, is a co-owner and founder of the paper, which is published twice monthly. He and Juan Galicia bought the paper in January 2003.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In 2001, La Voz received a third place award for being one of the best small Latino newspapers in the nation. In addition, the Lexington Commission on Race Relations awarded the paper the Drum Major for Peace award in 2005 for its dedication to diversity and peace.
