Jane Bennett Clark is associate editor for Kiplinger's Personal Finance. She also contributes to The Washington Post, New Orleans Times-Picayune and Washingtonian magazine. She attended Northwestern University. Clark joined the copy desk of Kiplinger's in 1977 and has contributed articles to the publication since 1981 when it was titled Changing Times. She previously was a copy editor for the American Psychological Association and the American Historical Association. Clark also has worked as a free-lance copy editor and substantive editor for numerous publications, including Kosmos, National Journal, Preservation, Stackpole Books and Time-Life Books.
