Chris Carter has been with KWWL-TV since 1993. Carter has been a television news junkie since he was a kid. As he grew older, he became more and more serious about the information business. Internships at the network level convinced Carter this was the career for him. Currently, he anchors the two-hour morning newscast, "Today In Iowa". He also anchors the KWWL-TV News at Noon. [CR-LF][CR-LF]His hometown is in Los Angeles. He has two children. Carter has a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in political science from Pepperdine University. He worked as a CBS News Intern in Los Angeles during college. Carter has also worked at television stations in Reno, Nev., and in Santa Rosa, Calif.
