Mr. Bryant Verified

Terry Bryant is currently the program coordinator r for KUJH-TV. He also manages the live show, 'Jayhawk Sports Talk.' In addition, Mr. Bryant is a writing and media lecturer at the University of Kansas School of Journalism, and is a former TV meteorologist and sports reporter.[CR-LF][CR-LF]When Mr. Bryant was a senior at the University of Kansas, he began working as the weekend meteorologist for KSNT-TV in Topeka. He moved to Tupelo, Miss., in 1986 to become the morning and noon meteorologist at WTVA-TV. From there he headed to California, where he was the meteorologist for two years at KMPH-TV before becoming a reporter, and then a sportscaster at the same station. He worked in California for eight years before returning to KU to pursue a master's degree in education. [CR-LF][CR-LF]When not at work, Mr. Bryant enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys working out and running. He has run a marathon and several half-marathons. He plans to run another marathon someday. He and his family also like to travel. Mr. Bryant said the family takes road trips all over the country, including trips to California, Washington, D.C., South Dakota, San Antonio and New Orleans.
