Len Besthoff is back in Connecticut as a reporter at Channel 3 Eyewitness News. His passion for news started when he was a child, he always wanted to be a baseball announcer; then when he went to college, the news bug got a hold of him and he spent untold hours at WESU-FM. He made an easy transition from announcing baseball scores to telling Connecticut's most moving and revealing stories. Besthoff has earned honors from the Associated Press, Radio Television News Directors Association of the Carolinas, National Press Photographers Association, and a Southeastern Emmy nomination. In his free time he enjoys gardening, fitness, fantasy baseball, and winter sports. He is married with two children. Besthoff received a degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown.
