Mr. Bayer Verified

Dr. Sam Bayer is a senior consultant with Cutter Consortium's Agile Software Development & Project Management Practice and a contributor that Advisory Service. He has been launching software products into the market since 1986. His first experience was with Axiom Systems, Inc., a public company he co-founded to produce software that catered to his chemist colleagues in large industrial laboratories. Thus was born his empathy for the customer and fascination with how to effectively deliver software applications. In the ensuing years, [CR-LF][CR-LF]Dr. Bayer has held various executive positions in consulting and marketing for IBM, Amdahl, Agfa, Sapiens, and Haht Commerce. In 2001, he established MarketAcuity, LLC, a management consulting firm dedicated to guiding the effective launch of software products into the commercial market or for internal deployments.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Dr. Bayer is also currently an adjunct faculty member at the School of Business at Capella University, one of the first totally online accredited MBA- and Ph.D.-granting institutions in the US. He has published papers and has spoken on subjects ranging from RAD and pragmatic metrics, to creating business-to-business e-commerce strategies.
