Former Royal Air Force navigator Jan Waszkiewicz and machinist Stanley Zaleski both immigrated to America with a few bucks and a dream: to build the world?s best sunglass. In 1973, they opened the doors to their factory in a small town called Randolph, just outside of Boston, MA. With a background in engineering and some serious skills, they set out to build an eyewear company with their bare hands. They built the machines that craft the sunglasses, and purpose-built a product for the world?s toughest critics: the US Department of Defense. At Randolph, we create sunglasses that are purposefully engineered and handcrafted to perform at the highest level. For over 40 years we?ve provided the US military with the world?s best Aviators. And that?s just the beginning. Our family-owned and operated factory in Randolph, Massachusetts USA sets the standard for responsible manufacturing. Each frame is guaranteed for life and is made by hand in 200 steps to create our signature style and comfort. A labor of love.
