IDC Celebrates Reopening with the Launch of Charity Foundation, The Fifth C, and Special Financing Offer

After one month of stay-at-home orders being in place throughout the state, Florida-based jeweler, International Diamond Center (IDC), joins the community in celebrating the reopening of their stores. It is a welcome change and sign of progress following the difficult period of community quarantine. IDC is heralding this with the launch of a new 501c3 non-profit organization, The Fifth C, as well as special financing on jewelry purchases.

The difficulty brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic has been felt throughout each of their nine of their retail locations in both Florida and Georgia. Despite having to close each storefront for the past month, IDC continued to provide caring, quality service, taking measures to support their local community. They are ecstatic to be open again as of May 4, 2020.

œGratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful, and, at IDC, we are thankful to our clients, staff, family, and community. This has been and will continue to be, a trying time for so many, but we are so grateful to be back to work and ready to serve you, IDC states on their Instagram.

A key element of each location's continued commitment to serve is accommodating the evolving needs of customers. One such example is that people continue to celebrate proposals and weddings, even in hard times. œWhat we have seen during past economic crises is that people still want to get married, notes Brian Stamey, VP of Marketing and Operations. In support of these meaningful expressions of love, IDC is making a dream engagement even more affordable with new special financing. This offer allows interest-free financing for five years on all jewelry purchases with approved credit, making sure that special, uplifting moments can continue happening no matter one's income level.

The company's determination to give back doesn't end there. They also recently announced their new 501c3 non-profit organization, The Fifth C. Since IDC's founding almost thirty years ago, it has been the vision of President and CEO, Keith Leclerc, to go beyond the diamond business with philanthropic efforts. œThe Lord has blessed my family and our company, he says, œand we will always live by the motto: to whom much is given, much is expected.

Motivated by the Leclerc family's desire to support family values and community-mindedness, The Fifth C exists to help others in a tangible way. The foundation's primary objectives are to provide assistance to veterans, empower childhood education, fight human trafficking, and support advances in pediatric oncology. Organizations supported include Boys & Girls' Clubs, UF Health Shands Hospital, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, FARA Energy Ball, Save the Kids Foundation, and many more.

The foundations' board of directors includes Keith and Peggy Leclerc, Brian and Danae Leclerc, Chad and Danielle Masters, and Brian and Ashley Stamey. To learn more about The Fifth C or to make a donation, visit shopidc.com/pages/fifth-c-foundation.
