Roseanne Tellez is an anchor for CBS 2 News in the mornings at WBBM-TV. She joined the station in December 2004. From 1990 to 2004, she worked at WGN-TV in Chicago, most recently as an anchor for the station?s morning news. From 1088-1990, Tellez worked at WTLV-TV in Jacksonville, Fla., as a general assignment reporter. Prior to that, she served as an anchor and a general assignment reporter at KQTV-TV in St. Joseph, Mo., [CR-LF][CR-LF]She was honored with an Emmy Award as a reporter. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Tellez is from the Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. She dedicates much of her personal time to supporting the fight against muscular dystrophy. She hosted the local Muscular Dystrophy Association?s telethon for the last three years.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Tellez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California. She and her husband live in Chicago with their two children.
