Mr. Sullivan Verified

Michael Sullivan is a senior Asia correspondent for National Public Radio (NPR), focusing on international news. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Previously, Mr. Sullivan was a producer for "All Things Considered" and an NPR reporter in India, as well as a reporter and editor.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He also covered the South Asian countries of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, as well as all of central Asia, including Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. As a reporter, he is the recipient of two Overseas Press Club Awards for his work covering the U.S. intervention in Haiti. He was also part of the NPR team that won an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award for its coverage of 9/11 and the war in Afghanistan.
