Lawrence Smith is the vice president of communications at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. He was a broadcast journalist, a television anchor, reporter, producer and as well as various other executive positions. He worked at television stations in Lexington, KY, Knoxville, TN, Houston, TX and Louisville. He has served for 11 years at WHAS-TV in Louisville, where he is a recipient of numerous awards. Mr. Smith is a board member of the Kentucky chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and a member of the Public Relations Society of America. He holds a BA degree in Broadcasting from Eastern Kentucky University.
