Dan Skoff is the chief meteorologist for Fox 24 News at KFTA and for the evening news at KNWA-TV. He joined KNWA-TV in June 2006.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Skoff began his broadcasting career in 1998 at the CBS affiliate, KWTV-TV in Oklahoma City as the professional media storm tracker. He also served as the weekend meteorologist for the NBC and FOX affiliate, KAMR-TV/KCIT-TV for nearly three years. Prior to his current assignment, for three years, Skoff was the weekend meteorologist for KARK-TV (sister station to KNWA) in Little Rock.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He is a member of both the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. Skoff also holds the prestigious AMS television Seal of Approval. In addition, he earned a CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) certificate and became AMS certified.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Skoff was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wis. He and his wife have one daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and playing and watching sports.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Skoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
