Carole Simpson is a senior correspondent whose reports appeared on World News Tonight, Good Morning America, 20/20, and Nightline. She was also the anchor of World News Tonight Sunday. Simpson serves on the boards of the International Women's Media Foundation and the Freedom Forum's Newseum and is a member of: the board of directors of the National Commission on Working Women; the board of trustees of the Radio and Television News Directors Foundation; the board of the National Press Foundation; the Reporters Committee on Freedom of the Press, and the University of Michigan Alumni Board.
