Mr. Reid Verified

Chip Reid is the Chief White House correspondent for CBS News and is located at the Washington Bureau. He was previously the Capitol Hill correspondent at CBS News. Prior to that position, he was at NBC News, covering the same beat. While at NBC News, he reported for all the major NBC broadcasts, including MSNBC, where he anchored political coverage. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Before joining NBC, Mr. Reid was a reporter at WJLA-TV and WTTG-TV. He began his career in broadcast journalism as a field producer for ABC in Washington D.C. Prior to journalism, he practiced law as Counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee[CR-LF] [CR-LF]Mr. Reid graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College with a degree in psychology. He earned a Masters of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Law Degree from Columbia Law School. He currently lives in Washington D.C. with his wife.
