Kevin Rader has worked with Channel 13 Eyewitness News since July of 1990. Rader won a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for writing in 2003. He received the national Edward R. Murrow Award, the nations highest honor for broadcast writing. Some of the memorable stories he has done covered the September 11th terrorist attacks, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Kosovo Refugee Camps in Macedonia, and the Mike Tyson and Orville Lynn Majors trials. Rader is from Lexington, Neb. He and his wife Tammy live with their four children. Rader received a B.S. in history from Kearney State College with minors in social science and broadcasting.
