Bill Press writes a weekly syndicated column and frequently appears on radio and television talk shows. He has nearly 30 years experience as an investigative reporter, writer, commentator, and media personality on political matters. During the 1970s, Press held political offices and participated actively in politics in California, with a special interest in environmental affairs. He served as co-host of MSNBC?s ?Buchanan and Press? with Pat Buchanan, and six years as co-host of CNN?s ?Crossfire? and the ?Spin Room? with Tucker Carlson. He is the recipient of four Emmy Awards and a Golden Mike Award, and in 1992 the Associated Press named him ?Best Commentator of the Year.? Press received a bachelor of arts in philosophy from Niagara University and a bachelor of sacred theology degree from the University of Friborg, Switzerland. He is a native of Delaware.
