Sarah Platt joined NewsCenter 16 in June 2006 as a reporter and weekend anchor. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Before joining the NewsCenter 16 team, she worked as a reporter and anchor at WKBT-TV (CBS) in LaCrosse, Wis. She also reported at WXOW, the ABC affiliate there. Prior to that, she worked behind the scenes as an associate producer at WISN-TV in Milwaukee, assisting the consumer/investigative department.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Platt has been recognized by the Associated Press for her coverage in Wisconsin. She is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee; she earned a B.A. in broadcast journalism and French. While working on her foreign language studies, she spent some time in France.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In her spare time, she volunteers at the Red Cross and recently helped out with Hurricane Katrina relief in Louisiana.
