Mr. A. Kam Napier is the editor of Honolulu Magazine. He has received numerous awards for his editorial writings and investigative journalism. He won the Outstanding Editorial Writer award for the year 2000 and Outstanding Business Reporting award for the year 2001, given by Small Business Hawaii. Mr. Napier has also been a panel moderator for the Hawaii International Film Festival. As a former historian at the Arizona Memorial, he has written extensively on the role of the military in Hawaii's culture and history. He is a former network administrator & technical support manager with an extensive background in technical writing and corporate training. When not writing, he works on independent film projects. A student of UCLA Extension Film and Writers' program, he holds a B.A. in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.
