Mr. McFadden Verified

Terry McFadden co-anchors the early and late editions of WNDU-TV?s NewsCenter 16 every weeknight on Channel 16 along with his sister, Maureen McFadden, and anchors NewsCenter 16's Live at 5:30. As an anchor, he covers local, regional, state and national news. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. McFadden began his broadcasting career as a reporter in news and sports with WNDU-TV in 1982. A native of South Bend, he graduated from Saint Joseph's High School and holds both a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in communications from the University of Notre Dame. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. McFadden has received several Associated Press Awards for broadcasting excellence, including a recent award for the series entitled 'Off Limits,' which takes viewers to places most people aren't allowed. He also has participated in a number of investigations. Mr. McFadden is a member of the James McDivitt chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a board member of the local Alzheimer's Association.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He enjoys spending time with his wife and sons. He has restored a 1967 Mustang Fastback and enjoys fishing for pike and walleye on Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
