Mr. McCoy Verified

Before becoming editor of this outlet, Michael McCoy was an editor at Greater Yellowstone: Inside and Out.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He also been a field editor for Adventure Cyclist magazine. He was the managing editor of the Jackson Hole magazine. He was a park ranger for Devils Tower National Monument and a wildlife research assistant for the Kootenai National Forest in Montana. Mr. McCoy was a compilation editor for Classic Cowboy Stories. His advice on cycling and travel has appeared in Outside, USA Today, Elle, Business Week, the Washington Post and many other publications. He also discussed travel on CNN and ESPN. His story: The Year of the Outback, a story about a South Australia mountain biking adventure is a recipient of award in the Outdoor Writers of America's 2004 writing competition. Mr. McCoy graduated with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
