Lou Anne Lenzie is a midday host and promotions director at WLPO-AM. [CR-LF][CR-LF]She was raised in South Wilmington, Ill., and attended Lincoln College in Lincoln, Ill., where she received an associate of arts degree in communications. She went on to attend Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, receiving a bachelor of science degree in radio and television, majoring in broadcast media, marketing and sales. Lou Anne has worked in radio since 1979 in Illinois cities like Lincoln, Carbondale, Morris, Kankakee, Joliet and Chicago. It was in Joliet that she started a program called "The Recipe Corner" which she brought with her to the airwaves of WLPO in 1995. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Lou Anne can be heard on air from 1-4PM on "WLPO's Afternoon Update" with the latest in news, weather, business, and sports.
