John Kost has been with Gartner for more than 3 years and has more than 13 years experience in the IT industry. He covers government services and public administration. Previously, he worked for Siebel Systems, TRW, and Federal Sources, Inc. In 1995 he was named "Public Official of the Year" by Governing magazine.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Kost has a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in public administration from Michigan State University. He also attended the State & Local Executive Program at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
