As a research manager in the Leasing Evaluation Services group of IDC, Jennifer Koppy focuses on the midrange Unix/RISC server and workstation markets as well as the low-end Intel-based PC and Server markets. Ms. Koppy follows the life cycles of servers and workstations from Sun, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Compaq, and SGI. She researches technology trends and forecasts their impact upon current technology. Additionally, Ms. Koppy tracks pricing of these products on the secondary market. She provides guidance to leasing company clients and helps them manage their hardware investments. An eight-year veteran with IDC, Ms. Koppy holds a B.S. in Communications from George Fox College.
