Stephen Koff is the Washington, D.C., bureau chief for the Plain Dealer. He assigns, edits and reports a wide variety of news stories but mainly focuses on covering local and federal government, politics and regulatory agencies. Besides directing and participating in the bureau's coverage of Washington, he also contributes to the paper's politics blog, "Openers."[CR-LF][CR-LF]Before coming to D.C., he wrote in Cleveland for the Dealer and also reported for the St. Petersburg Times, St. Petersburg Evening Independent and Cincinnati Magazine.
