JARED MORGAN

I am an award-winning journalist, originally from New Zealand, now living in Kyiv, Ukraine, working in media and public relations. I still submit stories to my former employer Fairfax Media – the largest media organisation in Australasia – on a freelance basis.

 Ideally, an editor role and managing other writers is my goal, but I am also open to writing as I have been doing up to now. I have a wealth of experience in my 15 years in the industry as follows;

I am an award-winning journalist, originally from New Zealand, now living in Kyiv, Ukraine, looking for work in media, public relations or content generation.

In 2007 I was awarded New Zealand Junior Feature Writer of the Year at the Qantas Media Awards – one of the four main national awards given out to print and online media.

I followed that award in 2008 when, in my first year in the senior competition, I won New Zealand Transport Writer of the Year.

In May 2011, I was named as Fairfax Media's best news reporter for the first-quarter of the year, which led to me, while already working in Kyiv, being named as the company's third-best reporter for the year.
