Mr. Jay Hildebrandt has been a part of the KIFI-TV news team since 1984, and serves as an anchor and the vice president of news.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In Fort Wayne, Indiana, Hildebrandt served as an anchor for four years at WKJG-TV.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining the WKJG news team, he worked for two years as an anchor for KMVT-TV.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He gained his first broadcast experience, however, while studying at Brigham Young University. There he served as an anchor for both the television and radio stations, KBYU-FM and KBYU-TV.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Outside of the newsroom, he has been very active with many organizations that help the community. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Among them, he has served on the Region VII Health and Welfare Advisory Board, the Governor's Children 's Trust Fund Board, and the Safe Place Advisory Board.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He is married and has five children.
