Don Hansen works as AM Operations Manager of KMA-AM, covering music and entertainment programming. Hansen is a native of Shenandoah and he joined KKBZ in 1971 as an evening announcer while still in high school. Following graduation, he attended the Radio Engineering Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. He continued as the nighttime announcer until 1976 when he was promoted to music director and announcer. Hansen has held several positions within the company including promotions director, programming director and his current position as operations manager.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Hansen is the father of two sons. He and his wife, Sandy, who is the sales manager for May Broadcasting, live in Shenandoah.
