Jim Gray has been a co-anchor for 11 PM SportsCenter on ESPN since 1996. He has worked with NBC and CBS sports and covered every kind of sport. He is well-known for confronting Pete Rose in a live interview about gambling on baseball games. Gray worked on NBC's Emmy-Award winning coverage of the Games of the XXIV Olympiad from Seoul. He also works as a reporter on Showtime's boxing coverage, and was honored with a Special Individual Achievement Emmy Award for his interview of Mike Tyson following the heavyweight's second loss to Evander Holyfield in 1997. That interview was also named the "Sports Broadcast Story of the Year" by the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association. Gray graduated from the University of Colorado in 1981 with a degree in journalism.
