Ms. Dumandan Verified

Joy Dumandan joined as co-anchor for the 5:30 p.m. news and field anchor for the 11:00 p.m. news at WISH-TV in January 2001. She currently anchors the station's morning show, Daybreak. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining WISH-TV, Ms. Dumandan was an anchor and reporter for the Fox News Channel in New York City covering major national and international news. She also worked as a reporter for WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. She began her professional broadcast career as an associate producer for the cablecast program, America's Talking, then she joined CNBC producing assignments in New York and Los Angeles. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Dumandan is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association. She is a member of the advisory board of Brookes Place, a non-profit organization that helps children and young adults. She has written a story on Brookes Place. Ms. Dumandan was born and raised in New Jersey. She enjoys traveling, shopping cooking and golf. She earned a bachelor's of arts degree in communication studies from Montclair State University.
