Dan Dry is a contributing editor for the University of Chicago Magazine. Mr. Dry previously worked for National Geographic as a photographer. He is also the Chicago Magazine's photographer. He has over 350 national and international photography, advertising, and design awards to his credit. He is the sole author of 15 coffee table books, and has contributed numerous photographs to 52 books, including A Day in the Life of America, the only book of photography to ever top The New York Times bestseller list. His photographs have been widely exhibited in museums, such as the George Eastman House and the National Gallery of Art.
