Marion N. Cothran, known more popularly as MN, began in radio when WAAX host J Holland asked him to be a guest during the morning show. After working with Holland and Carl Brady, Cothran was given to opportunity to host his own show, The Hour of Challenge. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Cothran joined (was drafted into) the Navy in 1969. In 1974, he was one of only two Navy military men selected to work at the White House Communications Agency in Washington, D.C. He was assigned to the White House as Supervisor of the Emergency Relocation Complex at the White House during the Ford and Carter Administration. MN graduated from Jacksonville State University where he received a B.S. degree in Psychology. MN has said, "I am proud to be an American, and I will defend it to the end".
