Sean Callebs is a correspondent for the Gulf Coast (New Orleans) bureau at CNN.[CR-LF][CR-LF]He was previously a national correspondent and an anchor for CNN Financial News, CNN International, CNN Airport Network, CNN Radio and CNNfn.com. Callebs started working at CNN in 1989 as an environmental reporter. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining CNN, he was an anchor and producer for NBC affiliate, WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. Callebs also worked as an anchor and editor for WSAZ-TV in West Virginia. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In 1993, Callebs received an Emmy award for his coverage of the Midwestern floods. He was honored the same year with a gold medal at the New York Film Festival for a special on Alaska dealing with the after affects of the Exxon-Valdez spill. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Callebs holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Marshall University.
