Rob Boston is assistant editor for Church And State Magazine. Boston is an assistant director of communications for Americans United for Separation of Church and State and is also a teacher and trainer for professional, trade and industry groups and organizations on various employment and labor law issues. He is active in several community and civic organizations, including past service as an at-large director of the Duck River Development Agency and as a director and Chairman of the EAR Foundation. Boston is an approved arbitrator for several associations, including the National Association of Securities Dealers and the National Futures Association. He is recognized and listed in the current editions of The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA America's Leading Business Lawyers, The Nashville Post listing of the Best Lawyers in Nashville, and the Nashville Business Journal listing of the Best of the Bar. Boston was recently named one of the Best 101 Lawyers in the State of Tennessee by Business Tennessee Magazine. Boston is a partner at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis law firm and serves on the firm's board of directors. He is currently a trustee for the Oak Hill School and is an appointed member of the Board of directors of the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development and a private corporation. He is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Nashville Bar Associations with memberships in the Labor and Employment and Litigation Sections. He is a fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation. He was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternities. He received his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University in 1979 and a law degree with high honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
