Mr. Avila is the husband and manager of Cristina Saralegui, host of the popular Hispanic talk show," El Show De Cristina", also known as the "The Cristina Show."[CR-LF][CR-LF]The show has been on the air for more than 15 years, making it one of the most popular shows in spanish-language television.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Avila and Saralegui co-founded Cristina Saralegui Enterprises, Inc. (CSE), located at Blue Dolphin Studios which is the home of "The Cristina Show", and many television production facilities, as well as three sound stages open to outside productions.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In 1996, Avila and Saralegui also co-founded "Arriba La Vida", also known as the "Up with Life Foundation," which is dedicated to educating the Hispanic community about AIDS awareness.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Avila is a former musician and founding member of the Miami Sound Machine, and lives in Miami with his wife Cristina and three children.
